Patagonia Heliski

Overview

Patagonia Heliski operates as the premier helicopter skiing outfit in the Argentine Andes, bringing North American operational standards to the deep south. This is the ultimate, uncompromising frontier experience, providing exclusive access to over a million acres of uncharted, towering alpine terrain that has rarely, if ever, seen ski tracks.

Hotels

The operation is anchored by a newly built, luxurious retreat located right in the heart of the flight paths:
• Carrileufu River Lodge: Designed specifically as a high-end adventure base, this spectacular lodge sits on the banks of a pristine river. It features spacious en-suite bedrooms, a fully stocked premium bar and wine cellar, a spa with a sauna and massage parlor for crucial recovery, and gourmet regional cuisine, allowing you to launch in the helicopter directly from the front lawn each morning.

The Experience & Safety

The Experience & Safety Utilizing high-altitude A-Star helicopters, guests are rapidly deployed into a massive wilderness of jagged peaks, ancient glaciers, and sprawling powder bowls.
Every group is led by elite IFMGA-certified guides who manage the terrain selection.
All critical avalanche safety equipment, including transceivers, probes, shovels, and airbag backpacks, is provided to ensure the highest margins of safety in this truly wild environment.

How to arrive

The operation is based near Cholila, nestled between Bariloche and Esquel. Guests typically fly into the Bariloche (BRC) or Esquel (EQS) airports, where they are met by the team and transferred via land (or optional helicopter charter) to the remote river lodge.
